CSO is the union of the professional staff who support the 310,000 members of California Teachers Association. We are primary contact staff and bargaining specialists and attorneys and organizers, communications professionals, human rights organizers, member benefits specialists, instruction & professional development experts, legislative advocates and tech wizards. We are also professional and associate staff employed by CTA affiliates. More than 240 members strong, we are your union staff who support CTA members on the job, at the bargaining table and in our State Capitol.
